safe zone

this card is a very good support card and a good card to destroy your opponent monster too...

but i get a little confuse to the ruling of this card...

the rule says you cant activate it during the damage step...

does it mean you cant activate it the time your opponent attacks your monster to avoid your monster from being destroyed?

As it stands, Safety Zone can be activated at attack declaration/before damage step.

You can activate it when attacked as a response.

You can't activate it when the attack went through and your monster will be destroyed.

here is the situation...
you already have set the safe zone...
in your opponents turn, he summons a monster that have higher atk than your monster... he enter then his BP then atk my monster.... then i activate my trap safe zone.... is that right or it is against the rule?

You can. It hasn't reached the damage step yet.

now i can use it without worrying...

an example that you cannt would wxample of attacking a f/d ryko.. and flipped..

at this point you cannt use trap vard unless it modify damage or counter trap
