DN Tournaments: July Single Elimination

Welcome members to my first Dueling Network tournament.

This tournament will be a simple and quick single elimination tournament. Hopefully it will take no more than a couple of weeks to complete.

Single Elimination Tournament Rules:
- This tournament will be played under the Advanced TCG Format.
- This format follows the March 1st, 2011 banlist. Please make sure you are aware of the banlist before signing up to this tournament. The current TCG banlist can be found here: http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/
- OGC or non-TCG legal cards will be forbidden in this tournament. Use of such cards will be punished with a game loss or disqualification accordingly.
- Changing your deck or side deck between rounds will not be allowed at any point in the tournament. Side Decking is permitted.
- To win a match you must defeat an opponent two out of three times. The loser of a duel gets to decide who goes first at the start of the next duel.
- Once you lose a match, you are eliminated.

Signing Up
- You must have at least 20 posts in the Dueling Network forums to sign up to this tournament.
- You must be able to commit time in the next 2 weeks to dueling and completing your matches for this tournament.
- When signing up please STATE your dueling network name. Failure to do so will mean that your sign up will not be accepted.
- You may also want to include contact information for your opponent(s).
- Upon successful Registration to this tournament, your name will appear on the accepted list. Names listed here must send a copy of their Decklist (Side Deck included) to duelingnetworkforums@gmail.com before match ups can be given.




Completing your match
- When match ups are posted be sure you use the forum PM system to contact your opponent and complete your match before the allotted time.
- Any other contact method can also be used.
- There will be no excuses for not completing a match and disqualification will happen no questions asked.

All accepted participants (added to the accepted list below) must send their Deck lists (Main Deck and Side Deck included) to: duelingnetworkforums@gmail.com Judges will be difficult to appoint to duels because we will need to be able to 1. not only find them on the user list, but 2 need to have them online at each dueling moment. If you have a problem with a duel for this tournament you may message an online staff member. If you feel someone has cheated. You may come to me either by PM or here in the forum. I'm happy to watch any tournament match if I'm online at the time.

Currently. No. However 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed members will be placed in a special section in the forum. I will post Deck Lists (if permitted by winning players) and do a few interviews for the forum record. The best prize is popularity on the forums and in turn DN, but other prizes may be discussed along the way. I may consider adding to the profile a "tournaments won" section to display the tournaments won by members.

Also it would be good idea for everyone to post their time zones so there wouldn't be any problems with people who are 6-7 hours apart it makes it much easier to organize he tournament charts

Look under "TCG Sets". It's only listed as that ^^^ and as a prize for a tourney.

I know it says I need 20 posts, that's why I asked in the first plave, seeing as how I wanted to join.

Librarian became legal today. So it should be legal in this tourny. I'm up for it.

Are we running the side in the main for matches? Makes it easier on some of us with laggy cpu's to not go out of the game and lag up a storm on a new one.

Why are we not doing double-elimination?

K, sign me up. DN name is SuperKirbyFan. I'm on my iPod and not at a computer that can go online right now so I'll send me decklist in soon. My opponents can contact me by PM on the forums.

I also want to know who to PM with deck list changes. I need to switch one card for another. Unless that is deemed unacceptable.

Yo Im in, but how do we do the match? Do we just jump out and switch between our side and main decks? Ill make a side deck to whatever I decide to use then send the info to you later, as it is 5:47am and I am tired.
