Solved Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon Timing Question

Post  funkymonkey47777 2011-12-08, 18:06

If Galaxy-Eyes were to battle an opponent's set monster and the Turn-Player chose to activate Galaxy-Eyes's effect would the set monster be banished face-down or face-up? Since his effect activates in the Battle Step and the Battle Step precedes the Damage Step, the step where Damage Calculation is applied, I would assume that the monster is banished face-down. Is the correct?

There is no option to banish monsters, directly from the field, face-down on DuelingNetwork.

Then you can tell your opponent to temporarily ignore that monster until the end of Battle Phase. That's the easiest way.

no need for that

unless the monster zone will be needed for another card effect

and if all monster zones are full at end of BP the banished monster is destroyed and sent to grave
