Other question, on same game...

I flip Karakuri Ninja MDL 339 "Sazank"

This card must attack if able. When this face-up Attack Position card is selected as an attack target, change it to Defense Position. When this card is flipped face-up, select 1 face-up monster on the field, and send it to the Graveyard. During the turn this card is flipped face-up, it can attack your opponent directly.

And opp use effect veiler,
Now my karakuri ninja is on atk position... but effect is negated by veiler, and opp has Trishula, can I choose to not attack ?

Well your opponent wasted a Black Rose Dragon. Your white dragon ninja protects safe zone from being destroyed and safe zone protects your Dragon Ninja from destruction. About Karakuri Sazank im not sue but if i had to take a crack at it i don't think "this card must attack if able" is an effect i think this is a condition like when Quickdraw's synchro conditions that it can only be used for a synchro material if the card list "synchron" as a tuner monster

1) Neither card can be destroyed as both are indestructible.

2) Karakuri ninja's first effect is a continous effect that doesnt target itself and can be negated by effect veiler or skill drain,making him not have to attack.
