If i hand of six a tangu thats face down do they search or not

Assuming you mean tengu. No. If tengu is removed from the field while face down then his effect will not activate. If he is attacked while face down then yes because he will be flipped face up before being destroyed. Of course if he is killed by an effect like irous he wouldn't be flipped or die in battle to begin with so he wouldn't activate.
