Need some Feedback here.

I was in a duel today with adrian0705 on his turn he played dark Fusion

he brought out Evil HERO Inferno Wing I activated my Trap Torrential Tribute he then stated that Inferno Wing wouldn't be destroyed. I stated that since Torrential Tribute does not target it would still be destroyed and it clearly states on the Dark Fusion card that they cannot be targeted targeted by the effects of your opponent's Monsters, Spells, and Traps this turn.
And since Torrential Tribute didn't target Dark Fusion swung and missed.

He continued to argue with me about so I gave him a like to the Rulings on YuGiOh! Wikia that stated Torrential didn't target. Once I got this I started to get comments like:

Clarified

Torrential Tribute does not, and I will repeat,NOT target, thus Infernal wing can be destroyed. Now if you had activated BTH, this would be a different story. Just like you can't use dark illusion on Torrential because it targets the field as whole, not that specific monster.

Just to clarify: Bottomless Trap Hole does NOT target -> *click*

The effect of "Bottomless Trap Hole" does not target. Thus, if "Lord of D." is on the field, then you can still activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" when a Dragon-Type monster with 1500+ ATK is Normal Summoned/Flip Summoned/Special Summoned, and the Dragon-Type monster will be removed from play normally.[3]

Also, you were right, he was a jerk. End of story.

Why is this necessary? You could have PM'd an admin in to clear things up, if he continues to being rude, he obviously will get punished.

actually after that game I was thinking maybe I was in the wrong Best to double check and from the responses I have received turns out I should of doubted myself and it was answered, all I needed to know/
