One of the best cards in the game, but tends to be overlooked in favor of Shapesnatch.

this card is just so broken..though..i mean..his summon cant be negated..he cant be destroyed by battle and he is unaffected by effects..and any monster he battles with is destroyed at the start of the damage step and u take no battle damage in battles involving this card..i mean celtic guardian so op

i know right..hes so broken..i remember summoning him and my opponent quit :O

I have a Celtic Guardian action figure.

it doesnt escape the next banlist.

Celtic Guardian + Master Sword = FTK

All kidding aside this card is part of the classic monsters of the game. A card that links itself to a character of the show.

this card is indeed way to broken..he must get a ban before people exploit his power..but non the less he is a classic.

I contend that Ookazi is < Celtic Guardian! 1400 attacker that can attack each turn, or defend your LP versus a one time 800 damage card. Even with burn support card Ookazi still doesn't have the advantages that Guardian has (it does work with a number of cards, way more than Ookazi.

Either way, they are both classic.

Actually, Oozaki is much better.

Tsukuyomi + Magicain of Faith + Thousand-Eyes Restrict = LOCK/Infinite Oozaki.

The Celtic Guardian is a sweet classic tho. Gotta love him. =P

best card ever. i always have problems deciding wheter to run him or bls. My deck goes to 44 because there just to broken. in all kidding aside, I now have an urge to make a celtic guardian deck.

Rabbit, Giant Rat, Captain, Kurogane... this card has some support. If you're running 1500> EARTH Warriors and then using them to Sync, Xyz or Tribute, Celtic Guardian could be a cheap and easy card to use.

I highly suggest to always run 3 in any deck

I've never understood why they didn't just make the Guardian monsters a Secondary Type. Then they wouldn't have needed to make the effect of "Arsenal Summoner" so long and change the name of every "Guardian" monster not listed on it. In fact, Konami could still do that if they wanted.
