Rescue Rabbit vs Various Effect Negating Cards

Alright, so I've played Dino Rabbits/Rescue Dinos. And my biggest trouble is the fact that Rescue Rabbit seems pretty much untouchable by Effect Veiler and Fiendish Chain due to my opponent calling priority.

So, here's the thing. How does it even work? Let's say I had Skill Drain on the field prior to their summon. Can they still do it? Let's say I chain Rabbit on it's summon with Fiendish Chain, or Veiler it. Is it still immune?
Explain to me the process and how.

Banish Rabbit for its eff is cost, so you can't target it with Veiler and Fiendish Chain if you chain those to Rabbit's eff. Skill Drain has no effect on Rabbit also because of the same reason above.

It's pretty much untouchable. You can't stop your opponent from activating his effects with Skill Drain or the other things, as they only negate the effects themselves. And since he's in the Banished Zone when his effect resolves, Skill Drain or the other cards can no longer affect Rescue Rabbit.

Same goes for Stardust Dragon. You can't stop them from removing themselves from the field, since activation costs can't be negated since they're not counted as "card effects".

... That... That just makes Rescue Rabbit broken...

You can negate it with effects like Angle O7, Herald of Orange Light, Doomcal, etc.

Or just wait until they summon their dinos and Bottomless.

Bottomless is still 1 of the worst enemy of Rescue Rabbit and Rescue Cat.

Uh, Bottomless only affects monsters with 1500 or more ATK. And what is Rescue Rabbit's ATK again?

Yeah, no. Bottomless is a no go.

Edit: Nvm. Just realized it can also affect SS monsters. How dumb am I? x.x

people make really hard for me to run some of my decks by telling my opponent rabbit is unaffected by veiler without knowing whats going on on our duel

i have decks with :stumbling ,black garden or naturia guardian (most of the time not all on the same deck) allowing me to counter rabbit but EVERY TIME rabbit vs veiler pops up most people on the chat say rabbit cant be negated by veiler

and if 3 people say the fake/wrong ruling and 1 says the right one and isnt a mod guess wholl theyll listen?

Yes, do not forget that Effect Veiler can negate Rabbit if legally activated. I'v tricked someone into not using priority on Rabbit before and lulz ensued.

Rabbit is summoned and the effects of garden and stubling activate (turnplayer cannot use rabbit's ignition effect since the triggers supercede it).

you may then chain effect veiler to stumbling/black garden. After the chain resolves, even if rabbit banishes itself for a cost, it will be negated, since its effect activated on the field. (confirmed by the exiled force ruling)

However, that is usually not the case, so usually its near impossible to effectively "negate" or otherwise prevent rabbit's activation / resolution.

But bottomless is a good way to handle it :p

The reason Veiler is unable most of the time is because Priority allows you to activate Rabbit before Veiler can go off, and since Rabbit's not on the field anymore, Veiler can't target it.

If Veiler is allowed to go off before Rabbit, Rabbit's effect is negated.

This is a ruling section, not card suggestions to go against Wabbit's effect
