The meta at the moment is very wide there are alot of decks that can do well in any given tournament so its hard to find cards that do well against such a wide variety of decks.

Now that doesn't mean that they dont exist you just have to look for them first off lets take a look at the dekcs that are around at the moment.

Six samurai
Plant varients(doppel/junk tengu chaos there are quite a few)
Fish OTK or fish FTK
Frog monarchs/varients(water syncro frog FTK)
Fable
Gravekeepers
Dragunity
Light hero beat
X sabers

Those are the generally accepted top decks they are the ones that have either toped events or have very recently tested well for alot of players now most of these decks rely of the grave we have,

Fable
Dragunity
X saber
Frog
Fish
Plants

D fissure is a very effective card vs those decks, but is it wise to main such a card? It still hits a few cards vs light hero beat GK and six sam however those three decks take up quite a bit of the field also if you are using one of the mentioned decks you cant really tech D fissure without risk of screwing yourself up a heap however if you use six sam light hero beat it is a very good idea to side deck 2-3 D fissure however maining it wouldnt be wise.

Other cards like chain dissaprence also wouldnt do well in the main because in some/alot match ups its a dead card we have to find cards that even in the non desired match up are still good it also depends what deck you use to see if you can incoperate such tech.

Thunder king is mainable in most decks without hindering your own efforts, even if it does lock out some of your cards you can either play them first or you are still in control because you have field presence of a 1900 atk monster which with its ability to negate specail summons is hard to get over normally, thunder king locks out such cards such as sheins smoke signal, XX saber darksoul, gk comandant, pot of duality and dragons ravine.

Best tech choices? ThunderKingRai-OhYG02-EN-ScR-LE

Proberbly one of the best "tech" cards for the main deck at the moment would have to be fossil dyna pachycephalo with all decks besides light hero beat heavily relying on special summons this card is good against %90 of the top decks which in my book makes it suited to main even in the non favourable match up(light hero beat and GK) it stops miricle fusion and spy and best case can really help you against samurai even if they go 1st which is a deck alot of people seem to have trouble with this card can be teched in almost any deck and is even more versitile to be sidedecked.

Best tech choices? FossilDynaPachycephaloLODT-EN-ScR-1E

Decks like blackwing and gladiator beasts that have fallen of the radar can easily tech these cards while they have lost some power they can replace that power with cards to counter the current meta if done right and with a bit of luck these decks may be able to still do well in fact blackwings with teched sprit reaper has done well at the last few YCS.

There are many more cards that can be used as "tech" most of them fit in the side deck catorgory but some like fossil dyna not only can be mained but is also extremly effective if used in the correct deck even if the deck isnt antimeta.

yeah i wrote this on the go as a sample i didnt want it to be too long

also opression is very known common tech(almost staple more than tech) but yeah i should have mentioned that as an EG my main point that dyna is currently one of the best card vs the entire field was what i wanted to focus on

im not used to OCG cards yet i wrote it based on the TCG as i said it was a sample article just to see how people react to how i write and give feedback it was also my 1st article

as for Temporal Machine God Metaion idk if i see that im not swinging into it so it would have to swing leaving it vunerable to heaps of stuff

Veiler is another optional tech choice for decks it does well in main for most decks.

that is another card that i was gunna put it but as i said i intentionaly kept it short also stops treeborn and fishborg as well as most saber cards the only issue i have with wanghu is that reborn tengu is a real thorn in its side

I've personally testing alot of these and I think if you don't have Noblemen main decked that it is an amasing Tec card. Aswell as Cursed Seal of the Forbbin Spell, becuase it gives you the chance to negate and spell and they can no longer use cards with the same name.

Transmigration Prophecy.
Stops Spore/Bulb, Double-Edge Sword Technique, Pot of Avarice and even Stardust if you're lucky. Even recycles your cards too.

I like transmigration because I do not have Crows. I like it because it disrupts Avarice, Junk Synchron, and Debris (to name a few), and unlike Crow can also help you out by replenishing your Tengus, searchers, etc supply. I recently started siding this card, and it has been working great!

@Pox - I have been running it lately, and it is nice when you want to push for big plays. Nice card to have for that reason alone.

The card is a great side card, heck you could even fit it in the main deck if you have room. Chivalry also can be good for those pesky searchers or Rykos.
