Gemini monsters, and Call of the Haunted.

so, I was playing against someone earlier who use a Call of the Haunted to revive a Gemini Monster.

I ended my Turn

He Normal Summoned Previously Mentioned Gemini Monster, to make it gained an effect

When it came to my turn, I drew Space Typhoon, and opted to destroy Call of the Haunted.

He say that the monster wasn't destroyed since, by normal summoning it into a Gemini Monster, it was a different card.

I doubted it, but i said whatever, and finished the match

Was he right? I highly doubt he was, but you never know....

According to the rulings, Gemini monsters never leave the field when being resummoned for their effects... All equip cards remain equipped, so call of the haunted, would indeed still be attached to it.

Your opponent didnt know what they were talking about. Call being destroyed would still destroy the Gemini monster.

Ah, Glad I was right then. I guess in the end, It didn't matter, Because I still overpowered it, but now that i know that for a fact, I'll be sure not to let it happen again.
