Some OCG tournament results

Recently (Dec 18), there was a large OCG tournament in Japan (5th Tetsu Championship) that had almost 400 participants. Naturally, OCG is not a direct indicator of TCG since they don't have Tengu/Tour Guide/ignition prio shenanigans to deal with, but I still think the results of this tournament are extremely telling to the future of the meta.
Plus, any large tournament is usually worth talking about, so here are the top 4 (source is shriek):
1st place

What they dont have they cant use. Its the same for us.
Its why the World Championship has a custom ban list that has exclusives on it and the card pool is limited to the latest release in TCG.

Anyways, even though Agents didn't get Top 3 doesn't mean they are persistently good. I mean, if you get in the Top 4 in an around 400 ( I think the correct number is 374, but nonetheless) it pretty much means that deck is definitely the top of the line.
The only thing that I find disconcerting is Laval's appearance in the Top 4. I knew they were good, but it is very surprising to find them on the top. Then again, I find this deck to be more of a synchro heavy deck that has Laval inside of it. Either way, good job to Laval's!

none of that is a surprise, everyone knew Inzektors would wreck, and Tech Agents were the top deck in the OCG without rabbit lagia and tengu plants slowing them down (that is, until inzektors and lavals crushed them)

this guy is worthy to be called a player
Thing is, this guy didn't go to an even +50 tournament. While the idea is good and kinda cool, this isn't a revolutionary thing , just someone going to a tournament and trying something out.
Instead, I went through some tests with Insect Imitation and the results could've been better. Either way, Agent Inzekts are cool. :p

Nope. Just pointing out that anyone that jumped on the Chaos train after he won, is following one of the worst players to ever win at a YCS. At least with Billy Brake, people would be copying the deck of a skilled player.

I think its run in 3's because its not limited to destroying only a monster or only a S/T. Same with face-up or face-down.

Raigeki Break's main use is for discarding dead cards in hand / combo pieces to set up the graveyard while being chainable destruction to any card.
- Inzecters can discard Hornet. Even though Dragonfly/Damsel and Centipede/Centibeet can equip Hornet from the hand, it doesn't make a huge difference since Hornet does nothing for you in the hand.
- Lavals can ditch a 200 DEF monster to set up Rekindling plays, which is always fun.
- Agents can ditch a dead Venus / Earth / Shine Ball for chainable destruction. This also can set up Hyperion / Kristya plays.
All this explanation might not have been needed, but it helps to put it here.
