Unable to contact server

I tried to connect through another pc but I can not, when I enter the ID and password the page says "Unable to contact server" I tried installing Java but still not working.

same problem here, already posted a question, haven't gotten any replies in the last two days

so... don't hold your breath :-(

At this point I have to say, get a better connection or stop stealing from your neighbor.

i have come across a sort of epitome
you must have port 8080 open, use port forwarding if neccesary, but port 8080 will fix your problem ( to a degree )

i forwarded port 8080 and now i can always log in
unfortunately i am now stuck at a neverending "connecting..." screen

but thats one problem at a time

yeah i have been having the same problem for a week =/..This never happened before. Once I log in, it just keeps me the "connecting" screen, while using firefox browser. When i use safari, it just says unable to contact server.
