Blackwing Shura The Blue Flame effect.

Shura's effect: When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Blackwing" monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck. That monster's effect (s) is negated. Now since Blackwing monsters have effect(unless I over-looked one) what card could I benifit by SS a 1500 ATK or lower monster?

You can summon a Tuner, most notably Vayu since it's effect is negated so you can syncho with him, unlike Kochi the Daybreak. Also you can summon lvl 4 blackwings like to Xyz summon Rank 4s, but tuners are more recommended.

Yeah same as I was thinking but wanted to make sure it wasn't just to summons, Alright thanks for the info.

Kochi's nice for Xyz - running it allows for some combos, such as Kochi + Bora for Level 8 (which Blackwings usually don't get).

Isn't Kochi's eff a condition effect that can't be negated by Bora/Skill Drain... ?

You're thinking of Shura, Bora is the one that Special Summons itself if you have another Blackwing (NS Kochi, SS Bora, Synch .

Shura can search out:
Vayu for a quick lvl 5 (one of the better options)
Blizzard for a lvl 6 (not as good since Blizzard is a beast when Normal summoned)
Gale for a lvl 7
Kochi for a rank 4 Xyz (another one of the better options)

Blizzard cannot be Special Summoned.
