Ido, The Supreme Magical Troll

Hi there, I'm a new user here on the forum. I would like some help with a burn/lockdown deck I made. It centres around one monster called Ido The Supreme Magical Force.

His effect is: You cannot Summon monsters. You can only control 1 "Ido the Supreme Magical Force". If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon it from your Graveyard during the next turn's Standby Phase and destroy all other monsters you control.

The idea is to get Ido onto the opponents field asap and then make sure they can't attack with gravity bind/level limit/marshmallon. I then proceed to burn with bird/wave/golem/ameba. The problem I'm having is that I'm not getting ido fast enough and with xyz monsters, bind and level limit have no effect on them. I would really appreciate some help forum
