Holy Marked In Hand

After using a ritual deck with holy marked monsters, i wondered if their tribute effect activates if they are tributed from the hand.

no one really knows how konami deal with it until some official source says so (most likely until their release).

Yes u can activate the holy marked effects since they activate their effect by being tributed by any mean of tributing

Yes, you can tribute them from hand by Ritual Spell card since Ritual Spell said Tribute instead Send. Till the Official ruling come

You can tribute from hand as ritual cost, and they will get their effects. I used Hieroglyph Gishki but it's hard to make consistent and it eats your hand so quickly.

yes, if tributeed from the hand, their effects will activate.

Note that Holy marked Shu and nepthys both can tribute monsters in your hand as well to destroy spell/traps or monsters respectively.

If there is a question of game mechanics and card effects, card effect wins.

The standardized rules apply unless the card says they don't.

Actually that too is in the rulebook.
