Spiritual Light Art - Hijiri

Effect Unconfirmed: Tribute 1 LIGHT monster to target 1 card of your banished monsters; Special Summon that monster. Your opponent can reveal 1 Trap Card in their hand to negate this effect.

Possible use in Holy Marked decks using Osiris and Set. Might also help the Lightray archetype since their unconfirmed effects have to do with banishing.

Was the last part of the card really necessary?

It pretty much killed it for me.

About time we got spiritual light art. All that is missing now is spiritual dark art and we have a complete set!

Anyways, this is an interesting card and it can work like Different dimension reincarnation. However, its negation effect make it really weak.

It's bad because your opponent can stop it by revealing a card that's usually on the field.

Who sets all the traps in their hand anymore?

And rabbit and inzektor run 7-10 traps on average,and even plants main a not so bad 6/7.

The trap has to be in the hand. However, the card is bad in this format. Most decent duelist will hold back a trap or two in fear of MST or heavy storm.

Also, I don't think dark spirit art should be of the spiritual art set. Well, it IS seems part of it, but it shouldn't.

It doesn't say "Spiritual Dark Art - *Japanese word*" , it doesn't have Dharc in the picture. However, the effect is similar to Spiritual light art

The drawback isn't that bad considering a lot of people don't run many traps and any traps are most likely gonna be set and out of their hand anyway.

I loved Dark Spirit Art, but much like Magic Drain, the negate effect ruined it.

The best part is you can Special Summon any banished monster (unless the card says otherwise) so all in all it's not just for Lightray's & Chaos. Until the confirmed effect is revealed saying it only works on Light monsters.

Wow didn't notice it was that generic. That and Lights being more common and meta are probably the reasons for the drawback of this card.

I still wouldn't use the card because of the risk but still not as bad as its twin.

if this let's you tribute ANY light monster on the field, this could be a good anti-light card, though the official text will probably have the effect as "tribute one of your LIGHT monsters to summon a Light monster"

That's where Holy Mark Dragons come into play. I heard they like being tributed.

I guess the second part is to balance it, but frankly it kinda kills it...
