This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned, by having 5 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard while you control no monsters. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard.

Is this card still relevant nowadays? Or is it doomed for casual play like everything not Inzektor, Wind-Up or Dino Rabbit?

It would be amazing if Konami had unbanned DMoC like they should have.

I like the effect of this card alot. It is just the fact the setup for summoning of him is too slow that he can end up being deadweight in your hand.

Your deck has to be specialized to be able to summon him quickly and efficiently.

I believe that's the problem of Dark Creator. Every deck utilizing it is too focussed on getting him out quickly, often neglecting opponent field and/or setup.

Then again, TDC isn't like DAD where you can mindlessly splash it into a DARK deck and work, so you really need to make a build dedicated to him.

This where contradiction occurs. Aaah, if only there's a way to get 5 DARKs quickly into the GY and at the same time maintaining field advantage. FuFu is limited, LS is too random (and I have bad luck with mills), and we shall not talk about D-Boyz. =/

I really like it. Back then when the game isn't too fast, you can hide behind a 3k wall and get away with it. Of course, DaD return was around at that time too.

I like his initals because its the intials of my clan xD. Besides that however, He's ok. he tested ok in my blackwing deck but was mostly a dead draw. He's not like DAD as the above guy said where hes easy to splash. the best I've used of him is safe zone him, then recyle d-heroes from my grave to make dragoon and plasma. Which was mostly a fun build.

The card is more playable with E-Tele coming to 2 and now with D-Draw being at 2 but it still isn't close to having enough things going for it to be a contender of a deck. Maybe if they Unbanned DMoC as I mentioned earlier but, there just really isn't any point to make one now.

Dark Magician of Chaos does nothing for this except run it over.

DMoC makes its effect worth building something around.
