infinite life points

Is the flint lock infinite life points loop allowed? Because no matter how I look at it this tactic is just unfair.

is it an uncontrolled infinite loop? then no, otherwise its allowed

Once per turn, you can equip a "Flint" on the field to this card. You can take any "Flint" equipped to this card and equip it to another face-up monster. This card can only be equipped with one "Flint" at a time. While equipped with "Flint", this card is unaffected by "Flint's" effect and cannot be destroyed by battle.


that is the ability of flint lock.
so some guy had two flint locks on the field. He continuously used the ability to switch flint between the 2 while having morale boost on the field (gain 1000 life points everytime u equip a card).
so he kept switching flint between the 2 monsters and made his life point 999999 or infinity.

DN can only go up to 999999. Honestly, its enough to not even matter, but it is a valid and legal combo.

thats just stupid though. it would be pretty much impossible to win if u dont stop it at the start.
and most decks are based on damaging opponents through battle. and with infinite or 999999 life points it would be near impossible to win.

It's legal as long as they don't stall with it. They just show the opponent the combo and ask if they have a response if the combo will be done x amount of times. If not, the person doing the flint lock combo says how many times they do it to establish how many lp they end up with then the game continues.

Its a legal strategy, with a small payoff.

There are any number of Cannon Soldier OTKs that can render that Flint Lock useless. Or could use "Yu-Jyo Friendship" to add both player's Life Points together and split them half each. Or you could Stall until they Deck Out, give them one of those cards that gains the difference in LP and force to hit a "Magic Cylinder", or activate "Self-Destruct Button" and make the Duel a DRAW.

Any number of ways to get around a Flint Lock Loop after it's done its thing.
