I'm a little lost with pms...

I've never saw a pm system like this bevore, so I'm a little lost here... to be exactly, I lost 2 pms^^

Basicly what I wanted to do is to to open 1 pm from my sendbox to get the text out of it to edit it further (a huge one with much codes in it, so it is not that easy to just "type it again").
I've saved the text on my pc, sadly that one is about 100km away atm and I have to wait until friday to get there...

After seeing no button to edit it I tried to get it to the safebox. Being there and not seeing anything to get into the massage either I thought that the button "Move to profile" would move it back to the sendbox... well, it didn't and now I try to figgure out where that went, without any success so far

Please help me here.


PS: There is no "Forum Questions" Forum so I just put it here, I hope it is in the right place...

You will not be able to retrieve any code in a PM once it is read by the person receiving it.

However, if you know who received the PM, they can press the "quote" button, this will allow them to see the entire code involved in your message. Ask them to send this to you by other means.

Alternatively, tell them to reply to the message by using the "code" function available on the forum, you should also use this function when sending PM's if the code you are writing is important.

The text has not been bolded or put into italics, it shows the code you use to do so, but does not change the text when displayed for viewing.

This is how the code function will display messages.

actually I know the code function but never saw a use for it since I always could edit my pms in other forums. I'll remember it for next time.

yes, I gave him my agreement. I didn't that here because I don't want to openly post my password, even if that lasted only 12 hours now

Everything is fine now, although I have to replace some html code with bb code (i simply like that more^^) but that i can do myself within a few minutes.
