Activate while the only monster you control is 1 face-up "X-Saber" monster. Equip this card to that monster. It gains 800 ATK. If it destroys your opponent's monster by battle, draw 1 card.

my opponent says this trap only last for 1 turn (like any normal trap)
but i say no (because it says equip. i think it last like normal equip spel)

which one is right? (i never run x-saber deck before )

you are right, when a trap is equipped to a monster it stay as equip card.

The "one turn" thing is absurd, since it's a normal trap he can states that it goes to grave after resolution, but that whould be meaningless and it's obviusly false. No trap in the game goes to grave "at the end of turn" if not written on the card

At One With the Sword will remain equipped to the monster, just like an Equip Spell Card. It will last until destroyed in the same cases that Equip Spells would be destroyed, or until something else happens to it (like being returned to the hand by Giant Trunade, etc.)
