Came up with these cards a while ago.
Please leave your comments and criticisms, they are greatly wanted.
If I overlooked something, or if you see a problem with one or more of the cards, please don't just point it out. I encourage you to explain what's wrong, and come up with a possible fix that would still stick with the theme and playstyle.

I present, the Pixls. Very Happy

Pixl Hero

Lvl 1
DARK
Thunder / Effect
800 / 0

Once per turn this card is not destroyed by battle. When this card attacks a level/rank 4 or lower monster: destroy that monster after damage calculation. When this card attacks an Attack Position monster: this card's controller takes no battle damage.
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon).




Pixl Damsel

Lvl 1
DARK
Thunder / Effect
100 / 0

There may only be one "Pixl Damsel" (that you own) on the field at a time.
If you control at least 1 other "Pixl" monster and your opponent controls or is summoning a level 5 or higher Monster: You may equip this card to it as an Equip Spell in your opponent's Spell/Trap Zone.
While this card is equipped to a monster (except "Pixl Villain"), the equipped monster has its Level reduced to 4, its effect(s) are negated, and it cannot be destroyed by battle. If the equipped monster is sent to the grave, banish this card instead of sending it to the grave.
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon).





Game Console

Field Spell

All "Pixl" monsters gain 1000 ATK.
"Pixl" monsters cannot be tributed.
Once per your opponent's turn, if a "Pixl" monster you control would be destroyed and/or sent to the grave by battle or card effect, you may banish it instead.




Pixl Dragon

Lvl 2
DARK
Thunder / Effect
1000 / 0

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned by tributing one Thunder-type monster you control.
This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a level 4 or higher monster.
Once per turn: You may tribute one other monster you control; Select one of your opponent's face-up monsters, and reduce its ATK and DEF to 800 each, until the end of the next battle phase.
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon), and it cannot activate its 'once per turn' effect until your next turn.





Pixl Minion

Lvl 1
DARK
Thunder / Effect
100 / 0

When this card is summoned: You may place on your field [not summon] from your hand, deck or graveyard 1 "Pixl Minion".
When this card is sent to the grave: Add 1 "Pixl Enemy" or "Pixl Dragon" from your deck to your hand.
When this card is attacked, during the damage step this card's controller can take a maximum of 500 battle damage.
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon).
This card cannot be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material Monster.





Chiptune

Counter Trap

When an opponent's card effect would destroy or target one or more "Pixl" monsters you control: Discard one card and select up to 2 "Pixl" monsters you control; The selected opponent's card has its effects negated until the End Phase, and the selected monster(s) you control cannot be targeted by or destroyed by your opponent's card effects until the end of the next turn's Battle Phase.






Extra Man

Quick-Play Spell

Select 1 "Pixl" monster (except "Pixl Damsel" or "Pixl Villain") in your graveyard: Banish it. It is treated as if it was removed from play by a "Pixl" card.





2P Start!

Spell

During your Main Phase 2: Discard a "Pixl" monster; Conduct your Battle Phase once more.
Only "Pixl" monsters may attack the turn this card is activated.
If this card is played, you may not play another "2P Start!" until after the end of your next turn.





Pixl Enemy

Lvl 1
DARK
Thunder / Effect
600 / 0

When this card is Normal Summoned: You may add 1 "Pixl Enemy" from your grave or deck to your hand.
Once per turn (if you control at least 1 other "Pixl" monster): Select 1 monster your opponent controls (except "Pixl Villain"); it is destroyed after damage calculation if it is attacked by a "Pixl" monster this turn (This card cannot attack the turn this effect is used).
When this card attacks an Attack Position monster: This card is not destroyed by battle and its controller takes no battle damage until after the Damage Step.
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon), and it cannot activate its 'once per turn' effect until your next turn.





Power Up!

Equip Spell

Equip only to a "Pixl" monster.
When this card is activated, roll a six-sided die, then apply the appropriate effect based on the result:

1-2: When the equipped monster battles a monster with higher ATK: The equipped monster gains ATK points equal to the difference.

3-4: Twice, the equipped monster is not destroyed.

5-6: The equipped monster loses 500 ATK points, and cannot attack until the end of your second Battle Phase after activation.





Pixl Wizard

Lvl 2
DARK
Thunder / Effect
400 / 0

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned by tributing one Thunder monster you control.
This card cannot be targeted by Spells and Traps.
Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You may discard a card, or send a Spell or Trap you control to the grave and select one card on your opponent's side of the field; (If it is a Spell or Trap, destroy it. If it is a face up monster, reduce its ATK by 1000 and inflict 500 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If it is a Set monster, flip it into Face-up Attack Position; effects are not activated at that time.)
If this card attacks, or is attacked: Destroy this card at the end of the damage step unless you banish one other Tunder-type monster from your hand or field. If this card is banished by the effect of a "Pixl" card, you may place it on your side of the field during the end of the battle phase (This is not a summon), and it cannot activate its 'once per turn' effect until your next turn.





Reset Button

Trap
If 2 or more of your "Pixl" monsters were sent to the grave this turn; Special Summon one of those monsters (except "Pixl Villain" and ignoring the summoning conditions) and end the current Phase.





Pixl Villain

Lvl 5
DARK
Thunder / Effect
3000 / 0

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set.
If there is at least one "Pixl Minion" and at least one "Pixl Enemy" in your grave: Select 2 cards your opponent controls; Send the selected cards to the graveyard and Special Summon this monster in Attack Position to your opponent's side of the field.
When this card is summoned, its owner adds 1 "High Score" from their deck to their hand.
This card's controller destroys one Spell or Trap they control during each of their Standby Phases.
If this card attacks: The target monster's effect is negated until the end of the damage step.
If this card is equipped with "Pixl Damsel", you must discard a card to attack with this card, this monster's level is reduced to 4, this card cannot be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material Monster, and this card cannot be targeted by Spells or Traps, except "Pixl Damsel".



High Score

Trap

When a "Pixl Villain", "Big Core", or "B.E.S." monster is sent to the grave from the field: Gain Life Points equal to the ATK of that monster, and draw one card.

Pixl Wizard & Pixl Dragon

Old text: This card cannot be special summoned from the hand, deck or grave. You must remove from play one Thunder monster you control to normal summon this card.

I don't know if that makes much sense. Removing from play a card to NORMAL summon? I think it would be better to use the good ol' Nomi method.

New text: This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can not be special summoned except by banishing one Thunder-type monster you control.

Sounds much better and would still restrict the card from coming out easy. Keeps it from coming back from the Grave and still requires you to give up a Thunder-type monster for it. It also keeps it from being Special Summoned from the Deck like the old text mentioned, keeping it Hand only.

Updated wording akin to your suggestion, and made changes to all the cards for Problem-Solving Card Text. :D
