looking for good anime to watch

Hello errrbody it's ed,i was just wondering if anyone knew any good animes that are interesting. (something a male 15 year old would be interested in)
The anime i usually watch are either romance and action with a bit of comedy of just romance and action.If you know any anime that's interesting and worth checking out it would really help if you just put the name of the anime why you like it and sort of a summary of what its about

@enzo i was originally gonna watch trinity blood but it seemed alot like d.gray man so i didnt really bother lol but star driver was good,i wish it could of been longer :/

You're mistaking it with Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (which is a good anime too =D )

How about Tenjou Tenge, theres alot of fighting and anime girls with some school life in it too

good anime man from 03. graphic is still ok and plot is awesome.

@silversevenswords finished that a long time ago,sadly they canceld the show half way threw the season like they did air gear :/ but tenjou tenge is probably one of my favs

Well some suggestions I have, but dont know if you seen them already:

Cowboy Bebop: It is as funny as it filled with action.
Saiyuki Gunlock and Reload: I found it one of the funniest animes I seen. It has plenty of action along with a good story.
Last Exile: It is an interesting story, a bit of romance and action.
Xenosaga: It shows a lot of humor along with action.
YuYU Hakusho: I would see the anime before judging it on the manga.
Zone Of The Enders: I would say that it is funny.

following both already,blue exorcist is definately my top ten but steins gate is my newest fav atm with all the twist's and stuff plus the graphocs are good you can see the hard work put into it and its something based mostly around teens lol.
btw , what do you guys think of dragon drive/ picked it up as a kid in a shonnen jump mag and watched the first 3 episodes and forgot about it,do you think it would be worth the hassle to watch it?

It is the dark that makes it awesome though. I usually only watch animes that are very dark. Which is probably the reason my favorite anime creator is Ryukishi07 (the creator of Higarashi No Naku Koro Ni, Umineko No Naku Koro Ni, and Ookami Kakushi which are my three favorite animes currently). If you are looking for romantic, Ookami Kakushi is the most romantic of the three and is funny at times.

Escaflowne (action, mech, romance)
Amgami SS (school, cute girls, kissing tummies)
Lovely Complex (romantic comedy, one of the best imo)
Madoka Magica (amazing action, amazing plot)
Nana (realistic drama, edge of your seat plot)
Speed Grapher (Action, nice plot)
Claymore (amazing fight scenes)

Watch (or read if you can, it's better in Manga) Spiral, the bonds of reasoning. It's pretty sweet, though I don't think the Anime ever finished :/

well, im not that good in anime but of what i know, i can recommend you fairy tail, its one of the best animes/mangas/ right now, it has romance, comedy and action, but i assume that you are already following fari tail hehe xD

Blood+ is really good.
And High School of The Dead is like the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Also DN Angel is alright to follow, I read it when I was younger, but if you're a guy it's pretty boring..haha.

Berserk (id reccomend the manga over the anime but the anime is very well done and the dub is very good)
Gungrave (Very good story and characters. Nice gunplay) on netflix
Hellsing OVAs (amazing action, great dark humor, and an amazing lead. WATCH THIS DUBBED)

Clannad:After Story So sad just the best anime in my opinion.

People recommend anime that are based on VN and thus should be read, not watched (Steins;Gate, Higurashi no naku Kori ni, Clannad), anime based on shit manga (Bleach!), screwed-up ecchi gore (Highschool of the Dead), and Duel Masters???

Some of my Favorite Anime that I reccommend

1. Angel Beats (Some Comedy, Action, and Romance... Kinda sad at a time though)
2. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (If you into manly Anime, then this one is highly reccommended... So manly as you grew a chest-hair just by watching it)
3. Puella Magi, Madoka (Yeah, it's a Mahou Shoujo anime... But watch this and... You gonna see the other side of Magical Girl)



If you really bored and have lot of time to spend but prefer light and amusing anime, then Watch Doraemon. (Since tha's what I doing right now)

Try Gintama. It's quirky with a good balance of action (a little bit into the series at least). it's only subbed though because there are disputes with english licensing, but if you're like me then that's preferable. and yeh, as mentioned above, I would highly recommend Darker than Black. it's great.

1. Kara no Kyoukai (A collection of 7 movies. Amazing animation and fights)
2. Bakemonogatari (Slightly slow-paced but smart and funny dialogue)
3. Welcome to the NHK (A slice of life series that adds a comedic tune to dark problems in modern society)
3. Baccano! (Massive set of main characters. Stick past the first episodes and you'll be addicted to this)
4. Durarara!! (Similar to Baccano! with awesome plot twists)
5. Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad (Follows a band as they try to become big, not the best animation but good story)
6. Mushishi (An episodic anime following a travelling exorcist. Very good)
7. Arakawa under the Bridge (Same director as Bakemonogatari. Interesting anime, stick with it since its worth it towards the end)
8. Itazura na Kiss (A shoujo romance. Very cute without all that flowery romance scenes. Follows from Highschool to married life)
9. Nana (A popular josei series, so it takes a more mature stance on romance)
10. Black Cat (A action shounen following bounty hunters and assassins. I really loved the relationships between the main characters)
11. Great Teacher Onizuka (A slice of life comedy following a bike gang leader turned teacher. Although its old, its very good)

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: there are romance, science and stuff, some comedy

HOWEVER! if you really want to watch an anime full of comedy, watch: Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, its full of jokes

Angel Beats! cool, but short

Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai for some fan service and (un)interesting plot

Hidan no Aria for some action and romance

I believe too many of us have been waiting for this lol.

I watched the Black Rock Shooter OVA and the graphics were amazing and the story was bearable. The anime just got released and boy, it sucks compared the OVA :/
