Basically what they are doing is what they did with the X-Saber Powerup only for Six Sams. Atleast with X-Saber Powerup we got a X-Saber staple promo with Fulhelmknight. I only ever see a few Six Sam decks with Elder in them.

Itll definitely give a boost to the already strong Six Samurai lol

doesn't this kinda suck since sams got mega-nerfed? Sabers were still good when their special edition shit came out...

Samurai haven't been mega-nerfed. Only if you relied on Gateway and Shi En to bring you and easy win.

I still love this deck & I did get hurt with the list but I have been able to get around those bumps & make it work & I'm looking forward to getting my copies of Super Rare Elder.

Well it could be for those people like me who still enjoy the deck & would like holo versions of common cards we use. It could also be to spike interest in the deck again & the deck didn't die. I run it & its just fine. I still maintain the belief that its great.
