Very Tacky Question (Convulsion of Nature related)
Convulsion turns the deck upside down, making the cards face-up. Needle Ceiling requires 4 monsters, but the description only says "destroy all face-up monsters".
Is there any way that this can destroy cards from the now face-up deck? Looking at this with any sort of sanity, I think the best I could hope for is destroying the top card of the opponent's deck, but I thought I should ask anyways.
According to the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki, face up is just when you can freely look at a card description: "When a card is face-up, the card face is clearly visible to both players. When face-up, a player may freely examine the Card's Description anytime."
Naturally, it would be implied that a face-up card is on the field, but the chance to do a combo as silly as this is impossible to disregard. Also, would a visible hand, from effects like eye of truth, count the revealed cards in hand as face-up?
- Convulsion of Nature:
- As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both players must turn their respective Decks upside down and proceed with the current Duel.
- Needle Ceiling:
- Activate only when there are 4 or more monsters on the field. Destroy all face-up monsters.

any card that requires something face up just means the field with that. Those effects, that put cards in the deck face up or the hand "face up" are such rare exceptions that those are not considered for such effects.

Yeah, that's as I feared. Still, needed to get this idea shot down lest I kept thinking about it.
