Well, the thread already exists. So Necromancy over clutter I suppose.

Picked this game up over the past week or so. I'm going to officially declare it the least Beginner-Friendly game that has ever existed. Mostly because with a game this advanced no tutorial could really give someone an adequate footing before they're torn apart. Not to say anything bad about the rest of the game, I find it great.

Gunslinger201 (got lazy and just used my PSN). I play Sion. It'd be nice to have more people to assist in my welcoming to the League.

I'm an EU West player, got to half level 27, willing to help people under the only condition that you register as one of my referrals

I'm lvl 30, still kinda a noob xD but i'm not that bad. Feel free to add each other, and i'll help if im in game with oyu

Laning against Kog'Maw is ass. Severely. And you stole all my kills. Regardless, I still had more fun with the game then I have in a while. I'll play with ya whenever your on; btw I'm getting Kassadin so you can start hating ME TOO =D!!!

I have honestly never seen a good trist in 5's. I myself used to play trist, but that was when i played 3's. And I should start playing kennen more, he's pretty great, especially for team fights.

Agreed on the Kennen argument. As for Tristana, I have yet to discover the optimal way of building her. AP has huge burst but AD has higher sustained damage overall, while using the ult and W for positioning of herself and the opponent.

if cait is fed its lolzy. yeah with kennen i just get mad assists. I will. But i can't play today or tomorrow really. Today I have to study for finals, tomorrow i have 3, then work :\

Cait is def silly when fed, but an AP Sion carry is hilarious to watch.

Everything that moves just flees in terror when you put up shield. Add Deathfire Grasp for almost guaranteed death everywhere.

It's just that people can actually escape me; no one is escaping Cait.

How DID you get so fed anyway? You were like 5 levels up from everyone. Did your early game go that GDLK or were you laning against a fail? I remember you making fun of their Pantheon.

Laning fail obviously. I doubt he got 20 kills in all the team fights.

Total clarification of my statement.

Other than that, who do y'all hate laning against more than anyone else? I'd have to say laning against Kog, Cait, or Zilean is the worst.

Cait is easy, considering I main Taric and go lane either with Jax or Wukong. As for most annoying lane combo, I guess it's Vayne with Sona and Nidalee with Ashe/Caitlyn/w/e hard AD carry.

Still haven't seen anyone even use Vayne in my limited time playing, so I can't comment.

Trust me, she is very annoying, especially if you go in bush and they ward/cv it. She will Condemn->Stun you then proceed to halve your HP before you even react. If she ulted beforehand, you are officially screwed, especially if you are playing support, because nobody can help you. On the other hand, with Taric I almost always win the level 1 pre-minion fight if it's a 2v2 in bot lane, simply because stun+Jax leap/Wukong Nimbus then auto-attack=First blood.

She be squishy. Eh, I got diced from a match today and was reconnected a good long while into the game after; I was lv12 while everyone is at 18. And yet I somehow never died and made it to 16 while we went on to win. Didn't get to do much of anything though.

I just tried Mordekaiser(huehuehuehue) after the patch. He got a "slight" buff with both his damage and shield. Fact of the matter is, I outfarmed EVERYONE and OUTDAMAGED everone. Ended up in end game having 4k HP and hitting like the truck of a champ he is. I'm seriously considering maining him.

Also bought Nidalee. Two things got to say:
1.Spear Poking FTW!
2.Cougar Pouncing For the RUN!!!

DO EET. Breath the life into him he lot when "nerfed".

2) Our lane just raped theirs, although we had both ahris in that lane, both sucked. hahaha
3) Once I was fed, I was just everywhere, I never B'd unless i had to. I was trolling. I got Baron basically by myself.

my boyfriend plays morde. I bought him Lord Morde skin. He HEUHEHUEUHEUHEUHEUH's all over the place, and has been for over a year. Morde <3333

I was at 10 kills by like 11minutes, it was very trollish. Then I had my team agree not to win until i got 20kills (we were running in circles in their spawn until i got the kills"

Naw, you can't. As for the Skyrim thing, I think League of Legends is far better when you get the ropes and get your first couple of champions. For example, now that I have Taric and Nidalee, I didn't open Skyrim for like a week or so.

Also a walk through my league games. I used to only play 3's, with either Teemo and Trist, i just recently started playing 5's. Unfortunately the only ones my computer are more recent, and i only have a few..

How do you livestream? Is that when you can record your matches?

Not only record, you can choose to stream them like live TV, which I find a lot cooler. You can also stream your own webcam and microphone audio, showing your reactions and live commentary/voice communication with the team.

Indeed. And I'd be hard pressed to find this better than Skyrim, but on the other hand that's because I'm a lv7 noob who doesn't have a grasp of the game yet and doesn't even have his runes/masteries at a respectable level etc. etc.

So needless to say, a lot of matches are an uphill battle since I sometimes don't even know how my opponent's Champion plays outside of their spotlight/page. Which is horrendous when they turn out to be a CC God I hadn't read about.

I don't play this often enough. Skyrim I get, and can work with to handle fights that have terrible odds for me and win (I hate it when I'm against +3 Deathlords and +10 Scourges, but not necessarily a death sentence. In fact, not even close as a Mage.).

HAVING SAID THAT, Imma get on now, Chey let's play (oh hey that rhymes).

All the tips I can give you are these:
-Try playing as passively as you can
-Get a character that is forgiving to your lack of experience(I recommend healing support characters, AD Carry characters have to get all the kills and you need to have experience of when you can overextend to get a kill)
-Get a higher level friend to help you out
-Play Co-op vs. AI a lot, until you get the hang of laning
-Try to last hit minions a lot, since getting one champion kill is equal to getting 10 slain minions
-Don't try zoning unless you are confident you can do it e.g you have a couple levels above them(zoning=taking the lane opponents out of experience zone)
-Always get a Doran item if you are a beginner, the addition in life points makes all the difference(I don't say they are beginner items, I open with Doran's Ring sometimes on Nidalee and other times I open with Boots, depends on the laning partner, for instance against Akali I want the extra mobility with Boots, since she can catch up to me quickly until I reach level 6 and have the ability to Pounce away from her after harrassing her)
-Take a look at your abilities and build accordingly(though for some characters this is counter-intuitive. For instance, Ezreal has mostly ability power scaling abilities, yet you really want to build him AD)
-Go on www.mobafire.com and read all the guides you can and want

Mobafire is great for popular characters, yeah. And I never thought of the fact 1 Champion = 10 Minions. An interesting concept.

Also, my team (mixed level game) fed a Vayne. I know what you mean know. Her reign of terror was unending. D=

I'll digest the rest of that post in the morning. But here's a thought. The next time Skyrim's thu'um calls to you, go to Dawnstar; outside one of the mines, in a group of trees under a rock, if you look carefully it will say "open chest". Open the chest.

thats why i always try to get like 300 cs *trollface* who needs to kill opponents
even if you are the AD carry....
