Hello everyone! this combo is right or wrong??

Today, I have dueled with Xepher on Unrated channel (just test deck).
I played Inzecter deck and he played Karakuri deck.
He summoned 2 Bureido, 1 Burei and 1 Karakuri monster but could not attack me because of Swords of Revealing Light. On my field I had 1 Inzecter Centibeet and 1 Howling Insect. My turn, I drew Inzecter Hornet, then I actived Centibeet's eff, equiped Hornet to it and Hornet's eff, destroyed his face-down card.
-Then added Inzecter Damsel to hand by Centibeet's eff.
-Normal summoned Damsel and equiped Hornet to it, then used Hornet's eff to destroy 1 Bureido.
-Special summoned Centibeet from deck by Damsel's eff, equiped Hornet to it, then Hornet's eff destroyed other Bureido. Adding Inzecter Gigamantis to hand by Centibeet's eff.
-Equiped Gigamantis to Damsel, then overlay Howling Insect and 1 Centibeet for Leviathan. Leviathan's eff, detach Centibeet to grave
-Overlay Damsel and 1 Centibeet for other Leviathan, Gigamantis lost target, sent it to grave and special summoned Centibeet from grave.
-Then equiped Hornet to Centibeet..... blah blah blah
That time, he told me that I cheated 3 times.
I don't understand ~_~
Can anyone explain this???

Gigamantis was not sent to the grave while equipped, it was sent to the grave because it lost the monster it was equipped to. You do not special summon anything for that.
Else, I don't see an error, but everything onwards this might be othervise...

We'll have to wait until the rulings comes out
As you can already tell it has a quite different wording than any other similar cards.

One argument you can say is that when it's destroyed, it's still an equip card
The other one would be it is destroyed but because it isn't an equip card at the time (Destroyed as a monster)

So we'll just have to wait

well, I went with the DN text which states:

If this Equip Card that's equipped to a monster is sent to the Graveyard

Didn't know that the actual text would be different, but at least according to this it actually must be destroyed while equipped.

Sounds like Dragunity ....

Dragunity doesn't active when it destroyed by game mechanic...

but not sure since I still don't remember inzecter effect.

Compare it to Dragunity, then it doesn't work.

It's the thing that comes closest to these guys...

The problem is "close" doesn't always cut it. Like how "If this card destroys a monster by battle..." and "If this monster destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard..." have 2 different rulings.

Though I'd say use Dragunity rulings for now, until we get something official.

And again, people arguing about cards that not even out yet, like Lightpulsar OTK. But as Dest said, they seem to like Dragunity's text, so we will apply Dragunity's equip monsters rulings to Inzecters ... for now.
