Dueling Network Wont Load

Whenever i try to load the Dueling Network game page i get to the Black Luster Soldier Picture and the white box(usually for news but empty)and it wont go any further and it says done loading, i have waited for hours for it.

I am running Firefox 7, with Flash 11, on Windows 7 Ultimate, i cleared all the cookies and the cache and even tried the "Create new user account" but nothing helped.

Edit: Now at Firefox 8.0, still same issue.....

Edit 2: IE8 Doing Same Thing, Yes Firewall is Off, no router involved.

When I try to log into DuelingNetwork.com (the actual site, not forum), it has like, a seizure of sorts and is impossible to navigate or do anything... Any ideas what's going wrong? Is it working for anyone else right now? (GMT 4.38pm)

I know teh solution: Use Google Chrome. I used to use firefox and it happened to me, but when I started with Chrome...OMG, I'm sounding like a informercial guy ._.

The admins tell you to use firefox..
uhm this happens to me too and the best thing to do is wait...
that's what works for me, it randomly does this, then it randomly works.

In Chrome it doesnt work randomly, it works everytime

I figured out what was causing it to not work for my friend. The game needs a sound output, if it doesn't have one it won't load. That may not be your issue but I would try any sound related issues and double check (assuming your sound works, if it doesn't get it working) to see if the game is recognizing your sound output.

You know I was sitting contemplating if it was the server or if my computer just didn't want to use it anymore then I honestly just thought about it it stopped working at the same time I removed me usb sound card I didn't know it was completely dependent on the sound system but it does make sense. Firefox is the better browser to use with DN when I use chrome to go to Dn the page just stays white and says done loading so in most cases you'd wanna go with Fox.

Well how do you locate how to change your sound output I'm not to sure about fiddling with things I'm not sure about ><

I know my profile and computer runs it fine, i took my computer to a friends place, he introduced me to the game so i made my profile there and then i had to come back home. I set up my computer again and now it wont load any sound just the visual/video of cards moving and black luster soldier and the links, no log in interface UNTIL it says "Error unable to contact server". Then I try to log in... same message pops up "Error: unable to contact server"

So I'm pretty sure its this sound problem, just how to fix is another problem for me?

You have working speakers?
If you do not, then just plug anything into the jack and it will work

Yeah I have done that numerous times as well as creating the Admin user and restarting my computer. Also tried deleting a sound device so the computer would fix a problem if it is one.

Could it just be a internet thing?? My internet is not slow at allbut this type of web page might be blocked?

Post your computer specs (aka PC properties)
If possible, post the flash version you have, we'll be able to help you further with that info.

And my flash player is: Flash Player ( Adobe I guess ) "You have version 11,1,102,55 installed"

Thats what it says when I go to update. So above is PC spec and this is my flash player

Suggestions for now would be to uninstall flash player, re download but download it through IE first even though you're not going to use it.

Try different browsers.

Let me know how it works out.

Ok I uninstalled then downloaded and re-installed flash player, the got google chrome. All of that too unfortunately does'nt help my problem... chrome runs faster but still unable to contact server.

Post a picture of the error message.

Try going undersafe mode with networking first. (Google how to do this on your PC)

This really is driving me insane.. No audio loading with that picture either so its something really weird that I don't understand.

Audio + ? = Fix?

But I don't know how to get it working audio, when it worked at my friends house i clicked dueling network for the first time through google on this computer but networked with his router. Now its back at my house and networked through my dads router and i click the site.. it loads but no AUDIO :S then that error message in the link above...

Don't get it.. Help Razz
