Inzektor Sword - Zektkaliber ruling

If I equip centipede with Inzektor Sword - Zektkaliber, and he is destroyed, can I use sword to add him to my hand?

you can.

As long as the sword was sent to grave while face up, it gets eff, and never misses timing

That's not the case here.

Your Inzektor that was equipped was destroyed at the same time and both are sent to the Graveyard. After both are sent, Sword activates.
