3ds 2012 Yugioh in AR?

I'm getting next to nothing on news about this. Konami is dead silent on their new yugioh game for the 3ds, but I suppose they should be. I mean think about it, there really is no reason to buy the handheld, or the game in this day and age unless you want the real life cards that come with it. Why won't Nintendo, and Konami deliver the 3d and the AR in a network that is free to play? Poke'mon can't possibly be an excuse.

Its a disappointment that these guys had all those years of concept and anime, and still can't pull through.

personally i would rather it come out for the ps vita instead. if one does come out anytime soon.

World Championships have always come out on a Nintendo handheld, the PS Vita probably gets a new Tagforce.

We don't know yet and as far as I'm concerned WC's are better.

The Vita is something that is even less needed then, touchscreen on the back is just a stupid idea. 3D is at least interesting and it already has a few gems, which people seem to miss.

As nice as the 3d is, the main thing is the Augemented reality that Nintendo has shown with its AR games, But atlast, Konami is the Industrial illusions to Nintendo's Kaiba Corp. Us players are going to suffer till they can figure something out.

Alternatively we could just do without either of them and have html5 DN on Ipads and tablets.

lol your picking at one detail of the system to say its dumb. to compare the vita and the 3ds is like comparing the ps3 to the wii. the 3ds looks terrible in comparison and the the 3D concept just hurts your eyes. the main thing they did right on the 3ds is make it so you can turn off 3D.

care to point out these gems?

the only problem I have with the vita is the price, the OLED, and the back pad are great but, having to buy that memory card, and with games on average being a bit more expensive is meh. On the plus side it is better in terms of OS and social media apps, than Nintendo.

I have a 3ds and while I do think its software apps are lacking in the "all in one category". I think the 3d Is good. Let me explain how I've come to use it everyday. It's true that in the wrong setting, eyes can hurt, but the thing is, everybody's eyes are different, thus the 3d would come off differently. I myself only move the 3d scale up to a quater of the bar, and its enough for me to see clearly, and never hurt. Its also just designed for one person at a time.

On the Topic of Augmented Reality which means placing cartoons on a real life backdrop with its all sides showing in 3d according to how you move the gyroscope. I think all systems with a back camera should be able to do it if the developers are willing. It just seems much more practical and socially acceptable to have duels on mobile than a scouter, for now anyways.

But tagforceis better than World championships by far.

I'll be R4ing this anyway, if I can pluck up the courage to part with enough dosh for a 3DS I don't want.

DSi>PSP(anyform)>3ds.

ah well if the 3ds sucks, I can always wait for it to be jailbroken, and act as a nice portable 3d viewer for outside content with a touchpad.

Why do people think the 3DS sucks? It's a good handheld with a few good games, it's price was high in the beginning but that doesn't mean it sucks.

It does if its value is disproportionate to what you get out of it.

I'm guessing E3 is the only chance we'll hear of it if its announce, by then, for now I think that AR Cards from the kid Icarus game will be a good point of reference as an industrialized standard, instead of the 1st Gen cards that came with the 3ds system.

Its not really a comparison. 3DS is the only one that is openly planning to do anything with Games for Augmented Reality.
