question about trident dragon

if a monster card says "this card cannot be special summoned except by (fusion/synchro) summon" like trident dragon then can I revive it?
Like i synchro summoned it once already and it got sent to the graveyard.
Can i use monster reborn on it?

You cannot. Nomi monsters are only allowed to be Special Summoned by the process written on the card.

Yes theres a difference. Trident can only be synchro and nothing else meaning no reborn and such. Cards like BLS can be reborn if the proper requirements are met. It can be reborn that way.

nope, there's no different between those, they're special summon only clause.
what you need to take look at is the "except by" nomi monster clause.

as you see, dragion has "except by" in its wording. that means dragion is a nomi monster, it cannot be summoned by other means except what stated on the card.
