Chimeratech Fortress Dragon Question

Hey there, my question is about fortress dragons effect when it's summoned. it says on the card effect that you can sacrifice machine-type fusion material monsters from "either" side of the field along with 1 cyber dragon and it gains 1000 ATK x the number of monsters used. what is the ruling on this effect? is it monsters that are yours that have switched control to the opponent or any machine type that happens to be on the field when trying to summon it? there are other cards that have similar wording but i can't remember them at the moment, any help on the matter would be great thanks.

CFD doesnt tribute monsters it just sends a Cyber Dragon + as many machines as you can or feel like sending to the grave to be summoned.

Also CFD gets 1000 atk for each card total sent, regardless to which graveyard/RFG they go to.

The card says it crystal clear, you can use any Cyber Dragon and at least 1 Machine-Type monster on either side of the field to Special Summon it.

Ex:
1. your Cyber Dragon + your opponent's Red Gadget
2. your Red Gadget + your opponent's Cyber Dragon
3. your Red Gadget + your Cyber Dragon
4. your opponent's Red Gadget + your opponent's Cyber Dragon

so it doesn't have any requirements other than the monsters having to be machines...

and it doesn't matter if the monster is owned or controlled by the opponent?

There has to be 1 Cyber Dragon in that mix though.

As long as you have a cyber dragon, plus you can use DNA surgery to rid of monster on your oppents side of feild too.

I used to despise the Zane AIs on the games for using that card.

lol yea i rember, i did that with one of the machine emps, 6000 attack in one go due to him having Sky emp and all the part to it.

Also I assume you were playing on Tag Force if you had to deal with them in 5 pieces.

Also BTH on the 5 piece versions is one of the easiest +5's you could get.

lol i no that was the only way i could beat him, unless he used converters ghost on me but me think the Skiel is the weakest out of Granel and Wisel, swear those cards are like pure offence exodias .

Those things are why I mained Warnings and BTH together while doing the TF5 Story Mode. I wanted them dead quick.

Dumb ones might do that. My partners tended to put those BTH's and Warnings to work.
