The idea is to abuse Poseidons effect to hit for big time damage

Here's how it goes

Poseidon Giant Beetle
If this card attacks a face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls, and that monster is not destroyed by battle, this card can attack that same monster again in a row. This effect can only be used up to twice per turn.

Shield Wing
Up to twice per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed.

Creature Swap
Each player chooses 1 monster they control and switches control of those monsters with each other. Those monsters cannot change their battle positions for the rest of this turn.

The idea is to swap over Wing and attack with Beetle for 7500. Of course this isn't so easily done, so we have some cards that cause invincibility for the opponents monster such as:

Half Shut
Select 1 face-up monster on the field. That monster cannot be destroyed by battle this turn, and its ATK is halved until the End Phase of this turn.

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
● Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Insect-Type or Plant-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard.

Other then that its getting him out however I can

It doesn't give Invulnerability , which is the aim for Poseidon


I'm currently testing the Ultimate insect variation, and they're doing about the same comparability
