Future Fusion

My opponent uses future fusion, gets his monster out attacks me yadda yadda.
It's my turn, and I use enemy controller to take control of his monster.
He said his monster is destroyed because its not on his side of the field.

On future fusion it says: "When this card is removed from the field, destroy the monster" but it wasn't removed from the field.

So should have the attack went instead of the monster being destroyed automatically?

There is no reason for the monster to be destroyed. Neither the monster nor Future Fusion has left the field.

as long as future fusion is on the field, then you had the right to take control of the monster he either :A- dosent know future fusion

b- trying to cheat
but next time play with somone whos higher than

Lol Your opponent either doesn't really know his rulings, or he's just a bad cheater!

Thank you for the answers, I'll keep them in mind. I thought I was right, but I didn't want to argue because I'm not to familiar with the card.
