The Earth Hex and Poly

Do you need to use Polymerization for The Earth Hex, or can it be fused without it?

Also, can you fuse the The Earth - Hex with Naturia Bakrion or Naturia Beast without the use of Polymerization?

Read exterio, when you fusion summon it it must be with exactly the 2 materials. If special summoned with the effect of the earth hex it can be done with either one.


note that the monster can't be special summoned from the grave/rfp zone if it wasn't fusion summoned and only special summoned.

So, Exterio can't be summoned with Hex, only the two required materials?

Since Naturia Exterio states one of the exceptions of using Fusion Substitute; "A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters.", you cannot use either of Hex-Sealed Fusion's effect to summon it.

You can use Hex-Sealed's effect to special summon it, it just like Cyber Twin Dragon, but you won't be able to revive it.

Yep, a generic Special Summon is not a Fusion Summon, so you're not bound by the limitation that applies to Fusion Summons, just as you aren't bound to the listed Synchro Materials when you're using Vayu's effect to summon something like Silverwind.

Due to its own effect hex special summons. NOT FUSION SUMMONS! So it + one out of Beast OR Barkion can be used to Special summon it.
If you want to FUSION SUMMON it, it must be done by Beast + Barkion.
