Pot of duality Sp Summon

Can we special summon before we activate pot of duality?

If you already successfully special summoned during your turn, you cannot activate Pot of Duality anymore.


If you tried to make an inherent special summon and it was negated, you cannot activate Pot of Duality.

» Example: You synchro summon Stardust Dragon, but its summon is negated by Royal Oppression. You cannot use Pot of Duality after that.


If you tried using a card effect that special summons and its activation and effect was negated, you can activate Pot of Duality.

» Example: You try to use monster Reborn and its activation is negated by Solemn Warning. You can use Pod of Duality after that.


If you tried using a card effect that special summons and its effect but not its activation, you can not activate Pot of Duality.

» Example: You try to use Call of the Haunted and its effect (but not its activation) is negated by Trap Stun. You cannot use Pod of Duality after that.
