Solved Savage Colosseum VS Stardust Dragon/Shooting Star Dragon

Post  Ameno-Sagiri 2011-10-26, 10:21

I just had a Duel against a player who summoned Shooting Star Dragon and I had Savage Colosseum activated, then he ended his turn and didn't attack, so my question is:

¿Can the SSD negate the effect? I think not, because it's a continuous effect. I have understood that he can negate effects of destruction when you activate cards like HEAVY STORM or EXILED FORCE, not continuous effects because the card is already active. The only way to prevent this is destroying the activated card with MST or the like.

That's all. You can show me the rulings if you want. I investigated and they don't say anything.

Yes, Savage Colosseum's destruction effect start a chain, so Stardust and Shooting Star can negate.
