Solved Stealth Bird question

Post  Virtuozo 2011-12-08, 16:38

I'm not totally sure about this...

If a Stealth Bird I control was flipped face-up but not destroyed by the opponent's attack in their last turn, so it enters my turn in face-up defense position, I think it can be flipped face-down again by its own effect, but can it still be flip summoned afterwards in the same turn? I would guess it can, it just can't be set again in that turn. Am I correct? Thanks.

Correct. The turn player retains their right to change the battle position of their monsters once per turn. In your case you used the effect to flip itself back to face-down, so now you can use your once-per-turn right to flip summon it.

I think you can flip it face down again in the same turn because it´s effect gets reset after you flipped it first

Effects for Flipping a monster to face-up or to face-down don't get reset just by flipping it.
