Cyber Valley
eff # 3
You can remove from play this card and 1 card from your hand, and place 1 card from your Graveyard on top of your Deck.
Desert Tapir
When this card is removed from play, you can select 1 Level 4 or lower Beast-Type monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it
I use Valley eff and banish Tapir and Cyber... does Tapir's effect miss timing? or not?

Re: Cyber Valley
Fairly sure it'd miss timing due to the last thing being Cyber Valley's effect and not Desert Tapir's banishing, as he is a "When .... you can...." monster.
Re: Cyber Valley
Deserttapir would miss timing.
"When... you can..." always miss timing if they are used for costs.

It's not a cost, but it's not simultaneous either

I always get confused between which effect on Valley as a cost and which doesnt. First effect is the only one with a cost right?

Re: Cyber Valley
It's easiest to see with the new text:
Obviously, the first effect has banishing as a cost and the others do not.

You can use 1 of these effects.
● When this card is targeted for an attack by an opponent's monster: You can banish this card; draw 1 card, then end the Battle Phase.
● You can target 1 face-up monster you control and this card; banish both that target and this card, then draw 2 cards.
● You can target 1 card in your Graveyard; banish this card and 1 card from your hand, then place that target on top of the Deck.

Re: Cyber Valley
The funny thing about all of this is the fact that those two are both on the field so scarcely. This is very situational.

Never been a fan of mainstream cards... and besides Tapir isn't on the field anyway, I'd banish from hand.
