E Hero Absolute Zero and Reborn Tengu 300px-ElementalHEROAbsoluteZeroYG04-EN-UR-LE
1 "HERO" monster + 1 WATER monster
This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. This card gains 500 ATK for each WATER monster on the field other than "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero". When this card is removed from the field, destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

from http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Elemental_HERO_Absolute_Zero

everyone know that his effect after remove from field. No matter where he go, graveyard , Remove Zone or even back to extra deck , all monster your opponent control are finished.
edited: except by make him face-down and destroy with effect that not make him flip.

but look at this
E Hero Absolute Zero and Reborn Tengu 300px-RebornTenguEXVC-EN-UR-LE
When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon 1 "Reborn Tengu" from your Deck.
but from the ruling
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Reborn_Tengu

This effect is mandatory and can activate during the Damage Step.[1]
This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is returned from the field to the Deck. [1]
This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is removed from the field while face-down.[1]

I wonder why they're different, since their condition are the same "When this card is removed from the field"

what do you think about this?

we had a few lines of discussion about it here... and i don't think we actually made a definite conclusion on why a monster spun back to the extra deck will get its effect while a monster spun back to the deck wont.

probably because it would be too imba if tengu could be cycled back to deck and endlessly reborn its self.

Fortune Lady Light ruled to be works the same way when she's returned to deck.
so yeah, unless stated otherwise, effect monster's effect won't activate in the deck.

apparently main-deck and extra-deck have a disrepancy on how they work or something like that.

like zero will be destroyed if it's divine wrathed in the extra-deck, while serpent lady or something mentioned in the thread by faust will not.

Gladiator Beast monsters activates on the field, returned to the deck as a cost, therefore, Divine Wrath cannot track down the Gladiator Beast monster anymore, it's "lost" in the deck

Whereas when Elemental HERO Absolute Zero activates in the Extra Deck, it reveals itself and Divine Wrath sees the Absolute Zero, so it may destroy it.

in order to activate itself, zero needs to be revealed,
same goes when zero get rfg'ed(banished Razz)
