Reporting system

It seems some people just can't read the rules of the forum plainly enough. By joining the forum I've seen almost half of the "Latest Topics" widget flooded with useless, one-word, triple posts.

The suggestion I provide to avoid this in the future is a simple Report function. We have had this feature in a previous forum and it worked well. Also it's a function supported by forumotion, so it would be easy to implement. What it does is it sends a message to the staff members alerting them each time a member clicks the report button above a post and linking them to the reported post, making detecting forum rule breakers even easier.

Just a thought for you administrators.

EDIT: My bad, didn't see that the rules section is empty, and perhaps we should do something about it? Any staff member please fill it up. I would do it myself if I would have your permission.

Either way, I think posting one word posts and triple posting in 3 minutes without anyone posting before you is a breaking of the common sense rules.

It should be under your Location on your pre-profile bio on your post. It reports the post so in a sense we understand what you want to be checked out if it's a thread itself the op post will be reported and all that jazz.

All the reports are sent to the MCP and ACP but we can't get into the MCP without accessing our email which I rarely do.

I can see how redirecting a MCP button somewhere on the site would be a neat idea.
