Rewards on the Forum
Last suggestion for today.
So on this forum, we sign up, make an introduction, get an avatar, make a signature, and start posting. That is all.
Afer we get lots of post, we get new title bars. Nothing else special to get...
Dueling Network makes you work for you avatar and card sleeves (or just donate), forum should encourage members to be active and post meaningful post.
100 post for an avatar.
500 post for a signature.
1000 post to bypass the active flood
2500 post for a custom title bar, as we all see some of the staff have them, but no members.
5000 post to have a special username color
10000 post to have excess to a special thread (seen another forum do this, never found out what it was due to it being a donation thing, and I didn't have cash to spend back then)

Re: Rewards on the Forum
People spam topics for posts counts. The majority of the people with the highest post counts post pages and pages in the game section. To anyone conscious of that, you realize that a post count isn't actually worth all that much prestige.

Re: Rewards on the Forum
While it'd encourage people to be more active, it would also encourage spam. I've seen other forums do this and it normally doesn't work of great, generates problems for the mods and people will jump at any chance of a post....
Also I think the custom titles here on the forums is one of the few things left to reward for tournaments since the other is now donation based...
Just my 2 cents....

Re: Rewards on the Forum
The tournaments will still involve customs, however, the process will change:
This is not yet confirmed but is what I may do.
We will instead provide the winner with a redeemable code that is the equivalent to a $10 donation with a supplied, layered card back image they can choose to upload if they wish.
