All the duelists, I'll duel them at the Gala! (at the Gala!)
All the bronies and the MLP fans

Right here at the Gala!

That's right everypony! The month of February is a month of fun and love! What better to celebrate the season with a little bit of love and tolerance? Sounds fun eh? To help bring in the festivities I thought I would throw a party (Pinky Pie style of course)! At the Gala we will have fun and help determine who is the best ~~pony~~ duelist! The Gala aint just for anypony! The space is rather restricted and I can only have 16 guests. The winner of the nights grand event will be lavished with only the finest of prizes! What are you waiting for? A Singing Telegram? come on everypony join us at the Gala!

*Note: Party cannon available by request.

Now, the princess has let me use some of the castle grounds to hold this event so I am afraid we are bound by some rules (Twilight Sparkles style)! Now, I can't take credit for all these rules as I had a baby dragon help me write them.

Single Elimination Tournament Rules:
- This tournament will be played under the Advanced TCG Format.
- This format follows the September 1st, 2011 banlist. Please make sure you are aware of the banlist before signing up to this tournament. The current TCG banlist can be found here: http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/
- OGC or non-TCG legal cards will be forbidden in this tournament. Use of such cards will be punished with a game loss or disqualification accordingly.
- Changing your deck or side deck between rounds will not be allowed at any point in the tournament. Side Decking is permitted.
- To win a match you must defeat an opponent two out of three times. The loser of a duel gets to decide who goes first at the start of the next duel.
- Once you lose a match, you are eliminated.

Signing Up
-Must be a Brony! If you have not seen the first season (completly), you are not eligible!
-Must Have an avatar.
- You must have at least 200 posts in the Dueling Network forums, notable brony on the forum, or a DN admin to sign up to this tournament.
-20 or more posts must be done in the MLP:FiM topic.
- You must be able to commit time in the next 2 weeks to dueling and completing your matches for this tournament.
- When signing up please STATE your dueling network name. Failure to do so will mean that your sign up will not be accepted.
- You may also want to include contact information for your opponent(s).
- Upon successful Registration to this tournament, your name will appear on the accepted list. Names listed here must send a copy of their Decklist (Side Deck included) to VantageSP via Personal Message on the forum.

*Admission is based on my discretion

Completing your match
- When match ups are posted be sure you use the forum PM system to contact your opponent and complete your match before the allotted time.
- Any other contact method can also be used.
- There will be no excuses for not completing a match and disqualification will happen no questions asked.

Simply fabulous rules If I do say so myself.

Now, what would the Gala be without some special rules and twists? To help spice up the Gala I have added some new rules to the current standard ones!

Battle City style Win-A-Card
-That's right! When you win a match you are allowed to look at your opponents decklist and add ANY card to your deck from their deck(you then may take up to 1 card out). Winner gets a card from the losers deck of their choice and can use it for the rest of the tourney! Losers do not remove that card from their deck for round 1.

NOTE: You cannot exceed the limits of cards. For example, if you have 1 "Dark Hole" in your deck already you are not permitted to use another Dark Hole. DN does not support this. Using a proxy in its place and saying it is "Dark Hole" is also not allowed. Once a Limit is reached, it cannot be exceeded.

Two brackets!
We are not rude to our guests at the Gala. You gotta share, you gotta care! Anyway, after the first round is done their becomes two brackets. A winners bracket and a losers bracket. All the winners will be placed on one side, and the losers one the other. The winner of both brackets will meet up in the finals. The second place guests from both brackets will play it out for third and fourth.

Best Dressed
A special reward will be given to the Gala's best dressed guest! That is right, a panel of judges will look at each deck and decide on the most unique and creative deck!

Pegasus Battle
The winner of the tourney gets to play me (VantageSP) in an epic battle of time and space!

Prize
Winner gets a custom MLP style set of sleeves and avatar custom made by me to your liking! That is right, any pony or MLP:FiM related thing can be requested!*
You will also receive 6 days of have a free avatar and sleeve.
