Idea for Dueling Network

I am not exactly sure if this is the right section, but oh well...

This is my idea for Dueling Network. I propose that DN be made similar to many other Yugioh video games by adding the "collectors" section. I propose that instead of having free reign to use any card in the game, players should be able to enter a second mode (separate than free mode).

In this second mode, players would start with a 40 card starter deck (one of the basic yugioh starter decks that are for sale). By dueling and winning duels, they would earn points to spend on buying better cards or better decks.

In addition, there would be more customization such as the ability to put a card up for ante, how many LP to start with, "tag-team duel" (these settings would be decided through a vote between the dueling parties).

Pretty much, the idea calls for each LEGAL card (banned cards would not even be available in this mode) to be assigned a "point value" in the database. Then, a store would have to be created (possibly on the DN website, as sort of a web store?). Then, players could use their earned rating to do one of several things, such as:

• Buy Avatars for use in this mode
  
• Buy Card Sleeves
  
• Buy a better starter deck
  
• Upgrade to an advanced deck
  
• Enter tournaments
  
• Buy cards

I feel like if you want to do that you can pick up your SP and play some :s.
The idea seems okay, but honestly I wouldn't play it. Also it's not really needed and I feel like it'd be a lot of extra work for something that I don't think too many people would use.

If you want something like this, play Tag Force or World Championship games, because otherwise it's not happening.

DN is not a video game so to speak. It is supposed to imitate how you play Yugioh IRL.

It's a fun idea, but would require a lot of coding and I would rather see them use that time to fix bugs and add new stuff like Tag Duels or even better searching options.

This was created for players to playtest decks without spending money.

yeaaaaah. Thinking of all the coding that would take. I can't see such a thing ever happening. Also I think DN was set up to be as close to IRL dueling as possible. They already have dueling video games, and if DN tried to become a (free) version of games in that manner I don't think Konami would just sit by and watch it happen.

Why would you want to complicate something as simple as DN?

not only Tag Force or World Championship but also YGO3 Duel Accelerator or YGOPro English patch

as much as i would like it why play it over what we have now?
