Pot of avarice > Pot of greed
Am seriously getting tired of this spell card named Pot of Avarice. Hopefully this ridiculous card gets banned.

Re: Pot of avarice > Pot of greed
Opening Hand -> Pot of Greed > Avarice
Late Game -> Pot of Avarice > Greed
Avarice at 3 is broke, at 2 still broke-ish, 1... still good.
There are so many draw power cards (allure, Trade-In, D-Draw,etc.) that PoG may stay banned until Konami feels like tossing us a generic draw card with no set backs/cost/+1.

A Pot of Avarice can extend the loop to remove an entire opening hand.

A card that you always love to get vs. a card that you sometimes love to get. For me it's quite clear, Pot of Greed > All

Pot of Greed doesn't give back all of your gas, which is primarily which Pot of Avarice is so good. It lets you get that superoflstompcombo or that central, key monster that current decks revolve around again, which is a really big deal. Every deck can fill its grave with 5 monsters by turn 2 or 3 so it is rarely a dead draw.

Pot of Greed, on the other hand, is NEVER a dead draw, except if you draw it as your 39th or 40th on a 40 cards deck (which is quite close to an irreal scenario). It doesn't matter how many scenarios you can come up with, it doesn't change the fact that Pot of Avarice has a condition for it's activation, it needs a good set-up, unlike Pot of Greed. In fact, I remember just one duel were Pot of Avarice was a big factor due to the sources recycling (my opponent double Trishula'd me), and I dueled all kind of decks, from Normal decks to Inzektors/Wind-Ups.
On the other hand, Pot of Greed is banned, that's why people is unable to suffer it and start saying that Pot of Avarice is better, but that just an overreaction and not a real comparison, we can say the same about the rescuers (Rabbit and Cat).
If you suffer due to a Pot of Avarice, you have no idea how much you would suffer for a condition-free card like Pot of Greed.

theyre not saying its better because of the draws, but because of refilling the deck

Recycling is for me more a little extra then the prime reason to run it. It's still a free +1 after you recycle a bunch of cards.
