DuelingNetwork Feature Upgrade

The Detonator wrote:As some of you may or may not have noticed DuelingNetwork went down for a brief moment to undergo an upgrade. Yes we are now running a new version with some new updates for you to all enjoy.

So what can be found in the new update?

-Ramped Up Profile Viewer-

1. Friend List
Much awaited is the new Friends List feature of DuelingNetwork. By visiting the Profile Veiwer and typing in the name of a DuelingNetwork member, you will now be able to add them to your friends list. Once doing so you can open the User List to find your friend at the top of the list for easy access. You can also delete friends in the same way.

2. Watch Duel
If your friend (or someone of interest) is in a duel and you do not want to go through the long list in watch mode you can type their name into the "profile viewer" and select "Watch Duel". This feature will give you easy access to their duel without having to go through the laborious task of finding it in Watch Mode and finding out who the host is. (Remember if the duel has a watch password or watch mode is switched off this will not let you bypass these options).

3. PM's
Also in the profile viewer you have the option to search a user and send them a PM if they are online. With the amount of users logging on and off the system every minute, the task of double clicking a name on the user list can sometimes be difficult and frustrating. This feature will make PMing much easier. Further still, you can add people as a friend (as mentioned above) and be able to find them on top of the user list for easy PM access.

4. Added Security
DuelingNetwork will continue to update security the more we grow and the more we find flaws in the current system. This update includes more security which will make multi-accounting more difficult to do successfully. Other security updates have also been added to solve other problems we detected in the previous build.

yeah the new admin features are nice and were very much needed. I've been banned to test them and I kicked myself from the system. So awesome. Det had to kick himself too just to join my new club. woot woot Thanks BLS.
