Members,

I have listened to all of your requests over the past few weeks and I will begin to roll out updates over the next few days to help make the forum a better place for all of you.

As updates are made to the forum I will post them here.

So far I have coded 5 new updates!

- Beginning the Revamped Reputation System: (16/7/2011)
This was a quick update, the reputation system has been changed. You can no longer use the negative reputation button to give negative reputation to members. All the same rules will be applied (for now, until I work out the more finer aspects to the system that need changing)

- Signature Limit: (16/7/2011)
I have coded into the forum an automated signature resize. If your signature image exceeds 500x300 it WILL be resized to these restrictions. This will prevent users with large signature images from taking up too much space when scrolling through the forum topics.

- Forum Widget Move Project: (18/7/2011)
The display of widgets made the forum feel and look a little cluttered. The widgets were restricting the width of the forum and taking away the content. With this update, I have coded the widgets into tabs at the top of the forum just above the advertisement. This will allow you be able to display/hide widgets whenever you want them! This gives you as a user more power to how you want the forum displayed.

- Widget tabs now blend in with forum. Smoother feel.

- Post Profile Location Changer (18/7/2011)
- Not a big update, but an update nonetheless. On the first post in a topic you can now click a "Change Post Profile Location" button on the top right of a post. It is denoted by 2 arrows. This button will change the profile display of posts from the left (which is the default on almost every forum) to the right! Now you as a user have even MORE control on how the forum works for you. Ever wanted to change the profile of posters to the right? Well now you can, and it will be personally customized just for you!
WARNING: deleting cookies will change this option back to default (to the left)

- Chatbox, with moderation everywhere in the forum? No problem! (18/7/2011)
- You have all been asking for a chatbox everywhere in the forum and not just the portal. Well.. success! I was playing around with the code for the chatbox and finally got into into our new widget tabs. Now you can see the chatbox everywhere you go just by clicking the tab! Want to chat with online users without all the spamming from randoms? Now we have full control of the chatbox and spammers WILL be banned from it. Enjoy! I am happy i got this one working finally

- Chatbox now fits entirely inside forum borders, looks less messy.

Some Basic Commands for users in the ChatBox:

- Twitter Feed on Portal (19/7/2011)
- You can now keep track of our tweets on the Twitter Feed added to portal. Keep track of our recent tweets without ever even visiting twitter and discuss them by creating topics with your friends in the forum!

- DuelingNetwork Rules upon registration (20/7/2011)
- This does not affect those of you registered here already. However, guests registering to the forum (whether it be because of general interest, or to complain about an "unfair ban") will have to agree to not only the Terms of Service of the forum but the DuelingNetwork site rules. New members will be given a clear list of the rules upon registering here for reference. Moderators and Administrators will refer to these rules when members complain about unfair calls or bans they may have had in DuelingNetwork.

- Facebook Conect: (20/7/2011)
- Facebook connect now allows you to log into your dueling network forum account through your Facebook Account! This makes the usability of the forum much easier for members. You can also use this option to alert your Facebook friends of Dueling Network Forums.

More updates will be on their way in the coming days.

Awesome! Many thanks The Detonator. The sig size limit was a needed addition. As for the reputation system, I wish you good luck in perfecting the system.

This is good. The old system (+) wasn't as obvious for new users. This is a lot more noticeable. Goof job! I might just try the new button out.

- Testing new display of forum widgets

My aim was to increase width of the board and clear the clutter on the right hand side. Suggestions/Thoughts?

EDIT: I think this is causing lag and the board is loading slower than usual when redirecting pages in the forum.

Please post here if you are experiencing issues.

No they removed all the stuff on the right side. My guide explained many of them, so now I have to remove them/update the guide because they are no longer there.

Lag? I feel no lag around it, actually its a bit smoother for me. Im liking the updates.

Pop-Up/ad issue fixed.

All pop-ups should now be displayed over the ads.

Post here if you find any bugs, will be adding more tabs in coming days to neaten up.

I have not coded anything into the All About me button yet.

You may see me add tabs that do nothing over the next few days until I code in what i want. For now, All about me will not do anything.

Yeah it seems to be running a lot smoother now. I like the grey buttons, it really did clean up the clutter on the right.
