Aquamirror's Edge (Gishki)

Hey everyone! I have been playing this deck for a while now and have been having a lot of fun and success with it! Any suggetions/comments would be much appreciated! Since new Gishkis were realeased recently, I decided to update it and it was becoming dated.

NOTE: This is a GENERAL Gishki build. Do NOT suggest ideas/cards that will alter the main focus of the deck. I purposely integrated multiple Ritual levels together for a reason to give it a sense of originality and it works great even though people say that it should be a Level 6 or 8 build. Integrated Gishki Levels work fine; End of story. Please, refrain from posting ideas that will alter the deck significantly or make me play your build. Other than that I'm pretty open-minded about your desicions. I thank you for your time for acknowledging this!

Explanations/ Recent Changes:

Not a whole lot has changed, but some major changes to the Extra Decks without Deep Sea Diva.

- 1 Deep Sea Diva: Not putting in enough work. Genex Aly Birdman does more; probably sided
- 1 Gishki Avance: Doesn't work as well as I would like
- 1 Gishki Natalia: Same as Avance. Kinda slow although I liked it
- 1 Shard of Greed: Wasn't working too well
- 2 Bottomless: Sided

+ 1 Genex Ally Birdman: More Synchro Summons than Diva and recycles Beast/Abyss spam
+ 1 Gishki Abyss: Working much better to get to Vision and Gishki Shadow ASAP
+ 1 Evigishki Soul Ogre: Addresses large-scale issues
+ 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device: Same as Birdman and more flexibility

I'm mainly looking for advice on siding Deep Sea Diva. She offered Level 4, Level 6, and Level 8 Synchro support and Rank 2 Xyz's. Please let me know what you think!

First of all, the questions:

Yes, 1 Mind Augus should be enough, as you can search and recycle it easily. Soul Ogre gives you another option on that regard while also being a formidable beater.

Most definitely. You could main it, depending on how dependant you are on Fishborg, but this doesn't look that Synchro orientated to me.

*Forbidden Arts of the Gishki: Replace with 1 Gishki Ceremonial Mirror?

If you run Soul Ogre: Yes. If not, it could be difficult to go out with this card and return with plusses, because Level 6 can't be found as often as Level 8 (either through 2 level 4s or 1 Level 8, most likely a Synchro).

*Gishki Abyss: Replace with 1 Gishki Erial?

If you run Abyss, you have to do it right and abuse him to death. Surface, Salvage and Gishki Beast are key (last thing is debatable though, I see a lot of people not using him, could change once Xyz hit, but that has to be discussed later).

To make it a little more... concrete:
-1 Mind Augus
+1 Soul Ogre
-1 Emilia
+1 Abyss (but only if you also run Surface and/or Beast, otherwise you can cut it completely. I recommend running it in 3s though)
-1 Deep Dark Trap Hole
-1 Black Horn of Heaven
+1 Torrential Tribute
+1 Mirror Force or +1 Salvage

-1 Chain
+1 more Salvage (it basically gives you another free Ritual Summon by returning Shadow and Vision, you should definitely run it at 3).

Well, you basically know my build and how I would do it, but this should be sufficient for now before I start posting my entire deck

Thank you! I totally forgot about Torrential Tribute! Il probably add Bottomless Trap Hole instead of Deep Dark Trap Hole and/or Black Horn of Heaven. I'll definaley test Soul Ogre in conjunction with Forbidden Arts of the Gishki. Ill add another Salvage instead of Beast or Surfaceing becuase it jsut fits better in the deck. Again thank you!

Made some new changes withe the Spetember 1st banlist. replaced Fishborg Blaster with Genex Ally Birdman.

Genex Ally Birdman is a great card in this deck since card such as Gishki Beast, Abyss, and Chain all have Ignition effects so with this i get to reuse them and its an odd-leveled Tuner which gives me more Synchro options. Let me know what you think.

So I haven't updated this build in forever, and with the new Evigishki support in the new Duel Terminal I couldn't resist. All suggestions would be nice!

Of course I know what the game is! It's a pun based off the game! It was intentional!

So, I just made a lot of changes to the deck recently.(See above or below for details)

I still face some issues also though. I took out Lost Blue Breaker so Diva is becoming less important an is really only in there is because she can go into Armory Arm, Gachi Gachi Gantetsu, etc. OR I could use Compulsory Evacuation Device on the Vision Gishki. But that's about it.

I added Gishki Avance in to test and a filler. With the new release of Gishki Natalia, the deck can become a lot faster later on. Her being a Spirit Monster is actually useful because you can use her effect every turn to send back Gishki Beasts, Shadows and Visions. It basically guarantees a Ritual Summon or an Xyz summon on your next turn. Here's a link if you wanted to see that:

I'm still searching for a better card than Shard of Greed. I was thinking Reckless Greed? Suggestions?
