Solved Herald of Orange Light vs. Elemental Hero Absolute Zero

Hey, hopefully a simple question here. Can Herald of Orange Light's effect be used to negate the effect of Absolute Zero?

I didn't think it would work, because Herald's effect states it negates the effect of a monster opponent controls, and since Absolute Zero's effect activates once it leaves the field, then obviously I no longer control it. But I was in a duel, and the admin I contacted didn't respond, so I just conceded the point.(Still had an amazing come-from-behind win though. Very Happy)

I searched, and only found 2 sources, both conflicting obviously. x_x

according to the sources i found, Herald of Orange Light was just worded incorrectly, and its meant to work like Divine Wrath, meaning it can negate the activation of your opponent's monster effects (not just on the field). I've also confirmed this working on Tag Force games (not the best source of rulings, but its based on jap cards so i trust it on this one).

Herald Of Orange Light can negate monster's on the field, Hand, and graveyard. Being just a smaller version of herald, Makes it almost as broken as herald of perfection.

But yeah, Herald of orange light can negate Zero's effect to bomb your monster's.

The TCG Herald of Orange Light confuse players because it adds "your opponent control" in the card text.

According to Konami, Herald can negate any monster effect.
