Still Can't Connect

So, I'm Having problems connecting to the server it seems.
Approximately one minute after logging in, I am sent to a screen that says "Lost Connection! Reconnecting...." only to never have it reconnect. I have logged out and back in several times. I have looked at the FAQs and gone through every step, to no avail; even the one that supposedly guarantees success (which is simply making a new user account on your comp and give it administrative privileges, seems silly). None of it worked. Am I missing something? Is the server like down or something?

Check your internet connection. Most of the time it will be that. You may also try using a different browser than before. Google Chrome works for me.

Nah, connection is fine, and I've tried several browsers too :/
Like I said I went through the FAQ list of solutions, from refreshing, clearing cache, shut-off firewalls, to making new admin profile. None of it works.
I'm finding that there seems to be some correlation with this problem and colleges. I've read couple other ppl in college dorms having same or similar issues, so I'm thinking its that.
