The New Booster Pack for Yugioh Zexal has been announced, and the Cover Card is said to be Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon. This means that Kaito will have a new Version of his Ace Card, makes me wonder what his effect will be.

Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is already my Ace in destroying Xyz Material and Xyz Monsters. I can only wonder what this one will do to Xyz Monsters.

And like Potus said, Yuma can't get a Break, Kaito was good enough. D:

- A Chaos Number type thing for Galaxy-Eyes.
- A Fusion.
Either way, it is going to get around ZeXal Spear.

Im seeing Kaito on the wiki,and he looks like Jack Atlus with a Kaiba brother-Protection style.

Neo Galaxy-Eyes? This mean a Red Nova Dragon or simply a Ultimate Blue-Eyes WHite Dragon(just a buff-up on the atk and nothing more)?

Galaxy-eyes is a very good card,but it just average yet,since people still abusing synchros.When Xyz rules completely the Yu-Gi-Oh,I will expect alot of this card on the Metas and Anti-Metas.

Something I expect from the effect:

When this card is Summoned, you can select up to 2 Xyz monsters on your opponent's side of the field, detach all of the Xyz materials on those monsters. When this card is destroyed by an Xyz monster, you can discard 1 LIGHT monster with 2000 attack to Special Summon this card from your graveyard during the End Phase. When this card is Summoned with this effect, it's effect is negated. This card cannot declare an attack during the turn it's Summoned.

Level 4, LIGHT, 2000 ATK, 600 DEF, Dragon.

Epic Galaxy Eyes support and so Xyz hating xD.

Probably,since better card version have somewhat better but still related effects to the previous ones,I think Galaxy Eyes can still have the removal effect that he pwnz very good at,and probably a new way to screw Xyz.

This would be the greatest thing to happen since the semi-limit of D-Draw (I really like D-Draw okay)

Im sure Konami will find a way to make this card either completely broken or coaster worthy

I doubt it. See, there are many types of HEROes, but there are only Photons. Unless they are a part of an archtype called something like "Pho" or "tons", I think Photons will just be Photons.

Well, considering when you see "neo" you usually associate it with light, that Photon is directly associated with the word "light" in definition, AND that it's part of the Photon series; all LIGHT. I'm gonna assume it's a LIGHT monster.

Not quite, Not even they are consistent in Summoning 3 Level 8's but it came to my attention that Infernities can summon it, not that it would be logical to do so but they can.

Yeah I said it's possible also outside of Blue eyes there aren't any other Level 8 Dragons in Disaster Dragon decks, I mean REDMD is 10 Pulsar is 6, Prime is 6. Dark Horus is 8 but no one uses him.

welp, finally happened. xyz got their own shooting star dragon.

though at 3 level 8's, who will actually use it, and be able to use it consistently? I mean, if you use a lot of level 8's, I'm sure you could get it out. problem is, if you have 3 level 8's on the field, YOU'RE PROBABLY DOING ALRIGHT.

The fact that it doesn't stop face-down cards is bad to me. sure, face-up cards can't use their effects, but the backrow is always a threat no matter what format.

i could see gagaga decks having a chance of getting this out though.

unrelated note but,
i don't follow the anime at all but why do i get the feeling this would only be summoned once in a tag team duel with the lead and the photon guy? photon guy gets galaxy eyes dragon out, lead gets gagaga magician and girl out and make them 8 for this thing?

Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon can only be 1 of the 3 materials right? It can not be substituted for all like Chaos number 39.

if you could use only 1 galaxy-eyes photon dragon to bring this out, it would be too broken, even if it's effect was limited like Sacred m7 (can't use its eff the same turn its summoned by an xyz sacred), instantly getting a 4500 attack beater from a 3k monster is a nice trade off if that were the case.

What about that new archetype whose focus is its level 8 normal dragon monster? If that gets more decent support, we may have a photon hybrid that can summon it within 2-3 turns. I can easily see people running 3 Trap Stuns and 2 Royal Decrees to prevent the negation of its summon.

The biggest threat I can see stopping this is a Solemn, or a well timed Effect Veiler combo'd with something else.

Seriously who runs those anymore? Now it's all about Wyvern and Pulsar. It's possible but still unlikely. Darklord decks can summon this too, all you would need is 1 Dark Creator and 1 Superbia.

face down cards must be flipped FACE UP to activate their effects so im prety sure that neo galaxy can stop traps

special summon Mystic Tomato somehow (exept by its own effect) and use Inferno Reckless Summon, suicide all three to get 1 Gagaga Magician and 2 girl. also, after Xyz summoning this way you can make 1 of your opponent monster atk 0.
the thing I want to know if its negating effect is continous or only activates when it is summoned, cuz if its continous, it will negate any card that will be used

Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon + De-Fusion = Xyz Summon to Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

Easier way to do it, but having 3 blues eyes is enough to win the game if the opponent has no defenses. I guess summong Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is more of a flashy thing to going for the win.
